Terms & Conditions

1. PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PROMOTIONAL PERIOD AND PARTICIPANTS

1.1. This promotion is only available on purchases made of any of the products listed at Schedule 1 (the “Promotional Products”) within United Kingdom, or Ireland, from a participating retailer listed at Schedule 2 (the “Participating Retailers”) between 24 December 2025 and 31 March 2026 inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).

1.2. All participants must be aged 18 or over and must be resident in the UK or Ireland (“Participant”).

1.3. Participants must submit cashback claims between 24 December 2025 and 23.59 GMT on 30 April 2026 inclusive.

1.4. All other products and retailers are excluded. Purchases must be genuine purchases for cash or its equivalent.

1.5. By submitting a cashback claim a Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1.6. All Promotional Products must be new and genuine Canon products.  Purchases of second hand, refurbished or reconditioned products, or products which are counterfeit or infringe the intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in any way (for example, including but not limited to parallel or “grey” products) will not qualify under this promotion. 2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

2.1. To enter the promotion, the Participant must (i) purchase a Promotional Product from a Participating Retailer during the Promotion Period; AND (ii) submit a valid claim online between 24 December 2025 and 30 April 2026.

2.2. To complete and submit a cashback claim Participants must:
Step 1: Go to canon.co.uk/offers/MegaTank-cashback-2026  for the UK; or www.canon.ie/offers/MegaTank-cashback-2026  for Ireland, and choose ‘submit your claim’.

Step 2: Complete the online claim form and apply to register the Promotional Product by: (i) completing your personal details, providing bank details and submitting details of the Promotional Product (including specifying a valid European product serial number); and (ii) scanning, uploading and attaching to a proof of purchase such as a receipt, or order confirmation for internet purchases,  and then click ‘SUBMIT’.

Step 3: Participants will receive an email submission confirmation together with personal login details to enable access to Canon’s online tracking cashback claim system. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 48 hours of submitting a claim form, you should first check your spam email folder and thereafter if still not in receipt contact the Claims Hotline on 0800 044 3251.

2.3. Promotional Products are subject to availability while stocks last. Canon will not be liable for the failure of Participating Retailers to fulfil orders of Promotional Products during the Promotional Period.

2.4. Canon will not process any claims:

2.4.1. received after the closing date for receipt of claims of 30 April 2026; or

2.4.2. which are in its sole opinion incomplete or illegible.

2.5. Canon will not be responsible for claims delayed or not successfully received.

2.6. A Participant can claim a maximum of five cashback claims in total. Only one cashback claim can be made per each Promotional Product that meets these Terms and Conditions of this promotion throughout the Promotional Period.

2.7. This promotion cannot be redeemed:

2.7.1. in conjunction with any other cashback promotion unless explicitly mentioned in that promotion’s terms and conditions; or

2.7.2. if the Participant is an employee of Canon or the Canon Group of companies and utilizing an employee discount on the Canon online store.

3. CASHBACK

3.1. Participants will receive cashback in the amounts shown at Schedule 1.

3.2. Upon receipt and verification of the claim, Canon will arrange for a direct bank transfer payment to the Participant’s bank account. No alternative arrangement will be entered into, and no cash or cheque will be provided.

3.3. Canon will endeavour to make the bank transfer within four to six weeks from receipt of a complete and valid claim.

3.4. Where a Participant fails to select one of the currencies offered on the claim form, one may be allocated at Canon’s absolute discretion.

3.5. Only one bank transfer payment will be issued per valid claim.

3.6. If you are UK or Irish VAT registered and you receive a cashback, it may reduce the taxable value of your purchase and so you may need to reduce your input tax accordingly.

4. THE PROMOTER

The promoter is Canon (UK) Limited, company number 01264300 with its registered office address at 4 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge UB11 1AF, UK.

5. DISCLAIMERS

5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon’s employees or agents.

5.2. In exceptional circumstances, Canon may void, amend, and/or change other promotional conditions without incurring any liability whatsoever provided that such changes are necessary and can be justified by objective reasons.

5.3. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it suspects that the promotion is being abused in any way. Canon’s decisions in relation to the promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5.4. If any part of these conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then such part shall be severed from the remainder of these conditions, which shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. DATA PRIVACY

6.1. Canon (UK) Limited is the Data Controller in respect of any personal data supplied by you. Any personal data submitted to Canon (UK) Limited will be processed by: (i) Canon (UK) Limited and its third party supplier Benamic Ltd, IDA Business and Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland, for the purpose of administering this Promotion; and, if applicable (ii) by Canon (UK) Limited and its associated companies for marketing purposes, in cases where you have opted-in to receive marketing communication from Canon. 6.2. If Participants prefer not to receive marketing communications or future updates from Canon about similar promotions, simply leave the ‘opt-in’ box unchecked when completing the Cashback Claim form.

7. LAW AND JURISDICTION

As you are a participating consumer, laws of your country of residence will apply to this Promotion, and You may be entitled to bring court proceedings in your own language and in your local courts. A local consumer advice organization will be able to advise you on your rights. These Terms do not restrict any statutory rights that may be applicable.
